About
Solet means little sun.
In Catalan it is the diminutive of sol. Something small, warm, and yours. That is the whole idea: not a vast system you rent a seat on, but one small bright thing that belongs to your business and gets better the longer you keep it.
We got tired of briefing our tools
Every session started with the same explanation. Which team owns which number. What we decided in March, and why. Which of six systems holds the truth about a customer. We paid that cost again on every conversation, and the tool never got better at our business, because nothing it learned survived the conversation it learned it in.
So we stopped treating the agent as a window and started treating it as an install. Its own database. Its own memories. Its own knowledge. Something you name once and then keep.
What we actually optimize for
Most of Solet's work happens inside a coding agent session, usually Claude Code. That is where the real work gets done, so that is what we design for.
We want those sessions to be productive. The agent should already know what it needs, search the record before it guesses, and finish the job rather than hand back a plan. And we want them to be a pleasure. An agent that remembers is simply better company than one you have to re-teach every morning.
Joy and productivity are not in tension here. The same thing causes both, and that thing is context that persists.
A happy accident
We picked the name for the sun. Afterwards we found out that in Latin, solet means "it is accustomed to." A thing defined by its habits, named without knowing it. We are choosing to take that as encouragement.
